Guide for Authors

submit an article

After registering on the journal's website (https://gbts.abu.ac.ir/manager?_action=journal), the corresponding author of the article should enter the 'Submit a New Manuscript' section and carefully fill in all the requested information.

 

When submitting your article, you need to upload the following files:

  1. Title page: including Authors’ name, academic position, and affiliations in English language, corresponding author’s email and phone number.

PhD students for articles extracted from the thesis, the names of the authors should be as follows:

-Student

- Supervisor (Corresponding Author)

- Advisor

On the journal's website, in the organizational affiliations section (authors' organizations), the authors' information should be entered exactly as follows:

(Department, Faculty, University (Institution), City, Country)

  1. Main manuscript: prepared according to the journal’s requested format (in *.doc or *.docx format).
  2. Authorship Statement Form: When submitting a manuscript to the Journal, all contributing authors are required to complete, sign, and submit an Authorship Statement Form. This form verifies that the manuscript represents authentic and valid work, and that neither this manuscript nor one with significantly similar content under their authorship has been published or is being considered for publication elsewhere, including electronically in the same form, in English or in other languages, without the written consent of the copyright holder.
  3. Conflicts of Interest Form: The Conflict of Interest Disclosure provides readers of the manuscript with information about authors' interests that could influence how they receive the work. The author(s) are obliged to submit a Conflicts of Interest form and assume responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the submitted manuscript. The Conflict of Interest Disclosure form must be signed by all authors, and it must be stated whether permission has been received to use any material in the manuscript, such as tables, figures, etc., or whether no permission is necessary to publish the authors' work.

 

 


Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be submitted as a Word document (*.doc or *.docx) for the refereeing process and should be formatted in a single column, not double column. All figures, tables, and supplementary data should be embedded and included in the main manuscript file. Moreover, all manuscripts must contain essential elements such as

References

All the references should be cited throughout the manuscript text as well as in the Reference section organized in accordance with the APA reference style.

To format the reference list use the (APA) method, as follows:

Article with 1 author

Others tips

Use half-spaces throughout the text (Ctrl+Shift+2).

Latin terms and foreign compounds should be mentioned immediately after their Persian counterparts in parentheses in the text of the article.

 
Important points:
1. Submissions should not be published in Iranian and foreign magazines, or sent to another magazine at the same time.
2. The article should be exactly the same as the article writing guide.
3. After submitting the article, it is not possible to delete, add or change the order of the authors' names.
4. Download the letter of commitment form and copyright form by clicking on the options below and upload the completed completed image along with the original article file.
5. All the authors of the articles are required to provide the researcher ID (ORCID) and the report of the percentage evaluation result of the content of the submitted article from a system similar to
iThenticate, Irandoc at the address: https://tik.irandoc.ac.ir or a similar system of iThenticate text finder, Samim Noor Upload it to the address :https://www.samimnoor.ir/view/fa/default, along with your article, in the journal system. This percentage should be less than ten percent.
6. Download the commitment form and the conflict of interest form by clicking on the options below and after typing the requested information, upload the image of the completed forms along with the original article file.
